Delete Your Account or Request Data Deletion
At TutorAtHome, we respect your privacy and give full control over your personal data. If you have access to the mobile app, the quickest and authenticated way to delete your account is through Profile / Settings ➔ Delete Account. If you no longer have access to the app or have uninstalled it, use the public request form below to submit your deletion request.
1. Delete Account and Associated Data
Use this option if you wish to permanently delete your full Student or Tutor account along with all associated personal information.
- In-App Deletion (Recommended): If you still have app access, delete the account directly inside the TutorAtHome app under Profile ➔ Settings ➔ Delete Account. This confirms your identity immediately through your active login session.
- Public Web Fallback: This web form serves as an official fallback for users who cannot access the app. Submitting this form sends a formal deletion request to our administrative team.
- What Data is Permanently Deleted:
- Your account credentials (login ID, password hashes, active sessions).
- Personal profile information (Name, Email, Mobile number, Profile photo, City/Address).
- For Tutors: Bio, qualifications, uploaded degrees/certificates, ID proofs, subjects taught, hourly rate, and radius settings.
- For Students: Class/grade details, learning subjects, tuition inquiries, and demo class bookings.
- Identity Verification: To protect your account from malicious or accidental deletion, our support team will verify ownership using your registered mobile number and email before proceeding.
- Legal & Financial Retention: Basic transaction or payment records (if any) may be retained for legally mandated periods as required under Indian financial, tax, and auditing regulations.
2. Delete Specific Data Only
Use this option if you wish to keep your active TutorAtHome account, but want specific personal information or files permanently removed.
- You can request deletion of specific items without deleting your entire user account.
- Common examples include:
- Removal of uploaded certificates, degrees, or ID proof copies.
- Removing old address, phone number, or outdated subject listings.
- Clearing specific chat messages, tuition booking records, or old inquiry history.
- Please describe in the request form below exactly which details or records you want deleted.

This official form submits your data or account deletion request to the TutorAtHome security and support team. We review every request and respond within 24 to 48 hours.
